MWA Crossfire is the fed's biggest show of the year. Unfortunately, the owner doesn't see the perks of making it a supershow, but that's not my call. If it was, supershow ahoy. Outside talent is welcomed but only limitedly, and if I'm not the booker (which I'm sure I will be so don't worry) there'll probably be no inter-promotional matches.

hmmm, this event is around 3.5 hours from us. If we can find a way there then you can count on a few members of ESBW being at this show. I guess we should also get passports. Would you be interested in coming this way for a show before you retire? Have you ever wrestled in Canada, eh? lol

I might. I'd need to get a passport too, and those cost like $150 US I think, and I'd also have to give some ID and whatnot. It's a possibility. I haven't even been in Canada, let alone wrestled there.

If you guys can come, make sure one of the guys is the NBYWA World Hardcore Champ so he can defend it.

i have been talking to Mike Knox and he is extremely interested. I am trying to find a way to get there. ou can put that him and I are interested. Would there be a place we could stay, maybe somewhere to pitch a tent? Is there any pay, or would we be wrestling for free?

Well since the show isn't a supershow anymore (though outside talent is welcomed, in a limited quantity), it's only gonna be one day (August 19) so I don't think you guys should worry about overnight stuff. It's backyard, so, no pay. We might be able to give ya like $20 US for gas or something.

i didnt know it wasnt a supershow anymore. that sucks. What would you think about us staying overnight anyway, and having an ESBW show over there where our storylines continue and shit? and we could get some of ur guys involved.
Knox and I were hoping to have extreme matches there, go all out, and figured we would need medical attention and time to heal lol

Not a bad idea. I'll talk to the owner about it Sunday at our next show. As far as staying overnight goes, the only real option is hotel. I don't know if one of our other guys can house. Our fed's owner (Karnage) probably wouldn't be allowed to, and I live in a small apartment about 10 miles away from our yard. I'll inquire about that on Sunday too.

all we would really need is a place to pitch some tents. we wouldnt want to bleed all over a hotel room haha maybe you would know of a cheap campsite if no backyards are available???

Another thing, if it isn't a supershow anymore, would you happen to know of any other promotions in the area that might be having a show that weekend? We would like to make the most of the trip as I'm sure you would understand, and the amount of money that we are figuring we would be paying to come would be better spent if we were coming there for more than just like 2 matches.

Also, would we be wrestling ur guys, or would it be like Mike Knox vs. Temple of Doom, a special match brought to the fans of MWA from the promotion ESBW in Canada?

There's a promotion called DWA that does their shows on Sundays in the Summer. However, they suck as far as cross-promotion is concerned. They told me that even though I've been at it for nine years I'd have to train with them before wrestling, and if I did show, I'd have to be a full-timer and not a just one-time appearance. So, I'd suggest not trying to hook up with them. I'm gonna ask tomorrow if you guys can do a show in our yard like the day before Crossfire. And if I'm booking Crossfire, you guys will be doing inter-promotional wrestling.

ok that sounds great. would there be weapons in our matches? Mike Knox is more of a traditional hardcore wrestler and a 9 year vet of byw. I am more into the crazt, fucked up shit as you can tell by my matches, and I'm not as good at straight shoot-style wrestling.

As long as the rules permit it, weapons will be used.

are you talking about the match rules? Or are there laws or bylaws in michigan that prohibit certain weapons being used or something?

I suppose I should ask if there are any rules/laws in general we should know about???

Also, what about medical attention? Is there a hospital nearby we could go to, or maybe a walk in clinic should we need repairs? I have a first aid kit that can treat most minor things, but broken bones or stiches we need professional treatment. I suppose I should also look into the costs of getting treatment. I dont know if it is free for Canadians there or if we would have to pay.

Rules of the match. There are St. Johns hospitals in Detroit and Warren, which are about 13 mins/8 miles for Detroit, 11 mins/7 miles for Warren. Any walk-in clinic would just bring you to the hospital anyway.

I would prefer to just crazy glue any wounds shut, but what happened to me in my last match was the first time i have been cut bad and i got the stitches. Hopefully nothing serious happens anyway and it will all be worrying over nothing

When I get the chance I'll tell him about your holding an ESBW event the day before idea. Oh and I just remembered, our weekly event IMPACT is on Sundays if you guys could do the whole weekend over here.

"Crossfire" weekend is from Thursday the 18th to Sunday the 21st...you guys were still interested in doing an ESBW event the day before right?

I ask this because on EBW's show thread you guys said it would be difficult to get Thursdays and Fridays off work, and the ideal date to do the ESBW show is on Thursday the 18th, which is the day before.
